Halloween is coming

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays....mainly cause of the costumes....but also the feel of terror and whatnot. I also like it cause of the candy too...that doesn't hurt...but with me...it's mainly about the costumes.

I know I haven't been on here in a while...I have a ton of other places to write my stuff in...I have a Myspace ( http://www.myspace.com/u2angelhearts ) and a Livejournal ( http://www.livejournal.com/users/music_lover_200/ )...but I also have a couple of place that has a Journal....so that's the main reason why I haven't been on here that much....also my mom got sent to the hospital a couple of times since my May 10th review....but don't worry...she is fine now.

Now...getting back to Halloween...I'm going to be a hippie this year....and I'm going trick or treating with my friends at around 7-7:30pm Central...at the very least. The reason for the late time...she has to give out candy to the trick or treaters from 4-7pm...that's why.

Other than that...I'm fine....a little hyper cause of the White Sox winning the World Series...but fine otherwise.

May 10th U2 concert review

Ok Concert review....simply amazing! I was amazed that they used the main arena lights for the DVD shoot....which was really cool...They performed all their songs with gusto! and I was even suprised to hear Vertigo played for the second time...and it sounded better than the first time! I thought KOL was really really boring...everything sounded the same to me.....When B brought up the kid for Into the Heart...it was really sweet....even after he did the catlike walk for An Cat Dubh...which was really sexy. MW was my favorite...so much so I actually danced to it.... I saw *Ally* friend as the MW girl again...and I must say....Kheila is a fine looking woman and a great dancer...she knows how to work it with B. And I swear Adam was looking in my general area a couple of times during the show....which I thought was really cool. I even like the second break where they showed the Zoo baby saying Mommy.....god I was close that I nearly touched them. It was sweet of B to decicate some of the songs....like BTBS to the troops overseas and OOTS to Jordan...whom he meantions her a couple of times...both as Jordan as JoJo (which I am assuming is a cute nickname). One of my dad's coworker's friend/relative...don't remember which...tried to get my area to sing Happy Birthday...which was funny....but the Happy Birthday with the clapping was much more effective. I like Laura...the girl who played with the band during Party Girl and I found it sweet that B gave her a bottle of champaine after he sprayed it on everyone else.Overall...I found it to be one of the best concerts that I have ever been to in my 8 short years of being a U2 fan...I'm just sad that I won't able to see them again....but that won't matter...I have the DVD to thank for that. Oh...B brought back the fugly Michael Jackson jacket back....but I loved him playing the drums...even when SBS starting to play. Finally...I love the fact that everyone got the chance to be on the ramp at least once...but I can't get over the fact that I swear Adam was looking in my general area and him being on the ramp....he's looking sexy live...with the grey hair and all.I hope this review will find everyone happy.

So it's finally May

So it's finally May...man am I going to be busy this month!

1. I'm going on Vacation from May 7th to May 14th...if Becky (my manager) gave me the time off.

2. I'm going to see U2 on May 10th! (more on that later)

3. When I get back to working at the Quarry Cinemas (the theater I work at)....I will be working through the last edition of Stars Wars


Ok...first off...like I said before...I will be seeing U2 on May 10th at the United Center....I'm excited for two reasons....first of all...it's Bono's birthday! And second of all...the director of the Elevation: Live From Boston might be direction some or all of the four Chicago dates (5/7....this coming Saturday, 5/9.....next Monday, 5/10.....next Tuesday....the date that I'm going, or 5/12.....next Thursday).....so now I'm really excited! Attention All U2 Fans going to the May 10th Show: I'm planning a little gathering after the show and I want to know if you are interested....let me know by commenting on my blog or Email me at either: Trent24685582240@aol.com, lp0900@yahoo.com, or U2LizzieLij21@hotmail.com by either May 8th or May 9th. If you want....you can also suggest what place to go....but please make it afforable....I don't want to run you guys out of money...epecially if you are coming from out of town. Thank you very much.

Now on to Work....I did work yesterday...I was in concession. I always seems to get the elcetic group of people....The Serial Yakkers (People who won't shut up about what they want to eat), Snails (People who don't want to move out of the way quick enough....if they have only ordered one or two items and/or People who take a looooooonnnnngggg time deciding on what to order) or Idiots (People who act prissy and/or act all foolish because I was trying to be nice and help them with stuff....or if I want to offer them something)....but the group I hate the most is the Interruptors (Peope who interrupt me once or interrupt me constly when I'm trying to offer them something or just plain talk to them!). Granted....some of the customers in my line are nice (so don't flank me!).......but some of the customers have this preconcieve notion that Movie theater Employees should be treated like idiots....we are not idiots and we are not your pickerupper in terms of trash....so....pick up your trash when you leave the theater and be nice....extreamly nice to you Movie Theater Employees like myself....even if you yourself are having a bad day....and Yes...I know you are going to comment about this...but please don't....Nasty words won't mean anything to me....I have been hurt by nasty words before...and it hurts!


Ok....I'm really sorry about my last comment....but I wanted to make myself clear about a couple of things....I'm really sorry.

Now moving on....Nothing much is going on in terms of my family....parents are still ok....cats are still as cute as ever....and all is right with the world.

My first Blog

Ok...so hello...my name is Liz...and I'm pretty new at this blogging business...so bear with me at the moment. Ok...to start off with...I was born Elizabeth Anne Peters...but like I said, please call me Liz. I share the same name as an author...so that's why the "Liz" thing. I was born in Chicago Illinois at Northwestern hospital. I was born on August 25th 1983...and I currently live with my parents and two cats in a crappy little apartment just southwest (I think...I'm not good with directions..coming from a girl) of Chicago...called Hodgkins Illinois. I currently work at a movie theater...and of course I'm not looking forward to working during the Star Wars movie next month...but I'm not worried about that until May 19th gets here.

Now...getting back to my life story...I'm 5' with black hair, blue eyes, a kinda squarish face, a potbelly and short arms and legs. I'm not very active and I don't like to excerice very much. I love going to the movies...going online...reading...writing...going to my birthtown of Chicago....and watching TV...pretty boring for a girl my age. Yes...I don't go out very much.


Music wise...I like anything as long as it isn't extreame. My favorite band in the whole wide world is U2. Been a fan of theirs since May of 1998 and have seen them twice during the Elevation tour...both times in Chicago. I will be seeing them again on May 10th at the United Center. May 10 of course being Bono's birthday...which I can't wait!

Movies...love horror and action...that's it. I'm not like your normal girl who likes cheesy chick flick...I think chick flicks are truly sappy and should be destroyed from the earth!

Well...I think that's about it in terms of my life story...I will be thinking about posting more about my job...working at a movie theater and all.
